I have been having issues for the last few month not receiving random text messages on my Turbo 2. The texts that i miss are random. Sometime it is from a new message and other times I have been having a back and forth text conversation when the messages don't get received. The sender of the texts that i do not receive always say that they have been sent. This is really irritating to not be getting all of my texts, especially when i am in a text conversation with someone. I use the android messages app to receive and send messages and it is up to date. There is no specific place i am at when this happens. It happens at my home, my work, other states, etc. Need this to stop.
All 3 of my Turbo 2's suffer the same problems...along with other problems. I use the Verizon Messaging app and I also can see some text messages get stuck in sending and will stay that way for a day or two sometimes...then I will get a reply from the person asking what I am talking about and it's because the phone finally sends the message.
My WiFi disconnects...Bluetooth turns itself off after a reboot and disconnects during calls and while listening to music. I've already swapped it out once...something needs to be done!
Verizon REALLY needs to make things right for people who have this phone! DionM_VZW

Yeah, same issue here. I've had a turbo 2 replaced twice in the last 3 months, because of Bluetooth issues. The latest iteration has been having trouble receiving all texts. Random "no-shows" from family members (different carrier) who have verified the texts were sent, but not received on my end.
Anybody have a fix?
I have read other blogs and they have chalked it up to the Android Marshmallow update that happen around June and July......... I reached out to Motorola about it and they kept trying to get me to troubleshoot the device and or get it sent it to get it "repaired" ........I am not sure how to get a hold of Android about this issue....... But everyone has tried all the troubleshooting fixes and none have worked for very long

So it is not the phone, Google( android) pushed out an update that [removed] up the messaging system. I was able to get it to work by unistalling android messaging and switching to verizon messager but i am sure you can just switch to another messaging system. I am holding out hope that they will fix android messaging.
