Unstable camera someone please help!?

Hello,

         I have the Droid Razr maxx and last month when I tried to access the camera the phone freezes. Then when I try to access my photo gallery it does the same thing. Once my phone freezes the screen goes black and I cant get the screen back so I have to shut off the phone. I told Verizon and they sent me a new phone which I got Wednesday. The same thing is happening I took it to the Verizon store and they said they think its a software issue. I called Verizon and they did a reset. I am still having the same problem. I also went on Motorola and someone posted the same thing on their message board.

I had the same issue and it was connected to some pictures I had transfered onto the phone from my laptop. Once the phone tried loading the pictures into the gallery it would not display the picture gallery and camera froze. Once I deleted the pictures using a USB connection everything went back to normal. Can also happen if you edit a photo on the phone using a computer via usb connection.

If VZW replaced the device and it is still happening then whatever was left over from the old phone must be causing the problem. Did you put the old SD card into the new phone?

When it's Doing this Try a Soft Reset if that Does not Work then Go into the Camera App and Clear the Cache and the Data and see if stops the Issue if Still Continues Try Running your Maxx in Safe Mode or Clear the System Cache all the Suggestion's i suggested can be found by Doing a Search on this Site as Search is Your Friend but if you are Still having Trouble Finding the Help suggestion's Let me Know and i will put them on this Post for Ya.. b33
