Try going to Settings > Sound, then scroll toward the bottom and ensure that Roaming Tone isn't checked.

Only other thing I can think of is Settings > Accessibility, is Caller ID Read-Out set to Ring Only?

I think there's a Voice Announce Smart Action ... is that turned off?

I'm afraid I'm out of ideas, other than rebooting the phone or doing a system cache clear (and I don't know if either of those would help, but it wouldn't hurt anything to try).

If you want the e-mail notifications to stop, you need to go to the top of this page and click the drop-down next to your user name, choose Preferences, then change your e-mail settings; be sure to click Save at the bottom.  Sending STOP to these threads only clogs up the threads.

Of course, rebooting the phone is simply turning it off, then back on again.  A system cache clear shouldn't erase any of your data; here's how to do it:

Power down phone

Hold volume up/down & power simultaneously

Use volume down to navigate to 'Recovery', use volume up to select

Should see screen with triangle and exclamation point next to an Android

Press volume up/down simultaneously

Use volume rocker to navigate to 'wipe cache' and use power button to select

Once finished, use volume rocker to navigate to 'reboot system now' and use power button to select
