What is this notification icon for and how to I remove it please?

The icon left of the 3G icon, what is it, and how do I remove it please. Droid Razr. Thanks for your time.

Did you Try pulling down the Status Bar an Removing it ?  You might be able to.. it could be from an App you got either free or Paid..

yes I tried that first. nothing shows in the list. It's not an app, nothing has been recently added prior to it showing up. my 20 mo. old kid did something to it, and it showed up after/since

Then I would Do a F.R. An get it Cleared out It might be something you Do Not Want!!

We did this as a last resort since no one else knew what it was either. Thanks everyone, the reset removed the unknown icon

1. Pull down the status bar and see if it shows what the icon says it is related to

2. Try installing Air Push Detector from https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brosmike.airpushdetector&feature=nav_result#?t=W25... to see if it is a spam app installed.

Also try the App Addon Detector.  It will detect things Airpush cannot detect. The two of them together though should hit them all

What notification you have foe the browser? I haven't seen any browser that places anything in status bar..

As for email, are you using stock app it a 3rd party app? If you are using any app other than stick you need to disable stick alert or you will see 2 notification for same message.

There is so many apps that do this and do that it's at time confusing just to keep up..

This is very true. I know airpush doesnt work for it all as my son loaded some games that airpush would not detect. The other one did. I am sure there are tons of other ad varients out there that will pop up and need a diffrent app to remove.

From the instruction manual this doesn't seem to be a stock icon so I would check and possibly consider any recent apps installed until you identify the nature of the icon.

Thank you for this! I couldn't figure out what the new icon was but now I see it is that I have my alarm set Not happy about it sucking the life out of my battery now but that's another thread.

It almost looks like a headset, but the picture is too blurry to tell for sure.

It Almost looks like a Handset or Headset as Mention Ann with Vibration Pattern under it. A clearer Picture Might Help..b
