What to Do after Battery Drained Fully?

I accidentally drained the battery of my Razr Maxx to zero.

I plugged it into the wall charger and then hit the power button. Nothing happened.

After reading some posts, I held the power and volume down button for 10-12 seconds (with wall charger). The motorola icon showed up, and then showed a big battery charge level indicator with 0% charge.

Its upto 40% now. The question is how do I get it back to normal operation mode so I can actually make some phone calls 🙂

Going on a road trip and really need this working ASAP. Please help.

FYI. I updated to Ice Cream Sandwich about a week ago.

Never mind 🙂

I just had to hold down the power button for a few seconds instead of just quick press. The large battery icon went away, motorola icon came on and started up normally. Guess I still have a lot to learn about it.

Sometimes that happens on My Maxx as Well you half to Press a little Longer to get it to Power up. Sometimes i here this little Voice in the back of mind saying you have to be smarter than the Device.! i'm getting to were i believe that's true Have Fun with your Device...

not sure now, recommended to use wall charger for 15min before powering up.
