Don't know what phone or OS version you have, but if you have a Wi-Fi Frequency band try setting it to 2.4 GHz only and see if that helps. If it's already 2.4 GHz only try Auto. On my M it's: Settings > WiFi > Menu (3 dots) > Advanced > WiFi frequency band. Rebooting your router might help.

Instead of trying multiple security/authentications (i.e., WPA, WPA2, WEP), find out which authentication you're actually using. Next, the frequency band is dependent on which IEEE standard you're using (i.e., 802.11g and 802.11b use 2.4GHz, 802.11n can use either 2.4GHz or 5GHz, and 802.11a uses 5GHz). Instead of guessing and trying different methods, find out which one you have and configure it. Be sure to triple-check the password/passphrase you're entering when trying to connect. Also, make sure your WAP is configured to assign IPs dynamically with the availability of an IP address to assign to your device. Is the the only WAP you've tried connecting to or the first one you've been unsuccessful connecting with?
