Yet another Bluetooth thread.......:-(

We bought a 2010 Hyundai Tuscon 2 weeks ago. I was all excited to finally have a built in bluetooth, but alas,it is not meant to beSmiley Sad..

I can not get my contacts to load from my phone(Verizon Motorola Razor).I can get the phone to pair, but really doesn't help,if I have to pick up my phone to "dial" numbers ,if I don't have them memorized(and who does, these days??)

My husband's phone works(Verizon LG Spectrum),but I am the main driver of this car so that doesn't help me(and no,I don't want to switch phones with him).I'm thinking it may be an ICS problem, since my phone has it and his doesn't.

I asked Verizon for help, but they said to ask Hyundai............I asked Hyundai and they told me to go home and read the phone manual.

I have been googling left and right looking for answers, but can't find any.

I would LOVE to be able to use my BT..

Need a little more data on what you are trying to do.  Are you trying to transfer and store all of your contacts (name and number) to the memory/phonebook of the Bluetooth hardware in your Hyundai?  Or are you trying to access your contact phonebook that is on your RAZR from the Bluetooth hardware on the Hyundai without storing that information in the car's system?

Have you tried something like Bluetooth File Transfer from the Google Play Store?  My son used it to transfer contacts to his Tundra.

Wondering, do you ever get the alert in the msg center about ok'ing the phone book download? (on the phone)

I understand but did you check that URL specifically? There are a couple links for FAQ's as well as a compatibility list - which to me looked like the Razr was compatible...

Yes,I sure did...........I really have a feeling it has something to do with ICS...

Well I think it would have to a combination of the BT system in your Tuscon and ICS if anything - Sync(Ford BT)works fine on mine and others I know of. So you're never seeing the message in the notification area on the Razr to approve the phonebook access by the Tuscon?
