My mother said her razr said it was updating, & powered off. It won't come back on, it's been plugged into the charger, I plugged my razr into the charger to make sure it is getting power, screen is still black. Tried the power and volume down button 4 times. Any other suggestions?
Sometimes the forced reboot method can be a little tricky. Try it a few more times. "Press and hold the power button + volume down button for 10 seconds to perform a force reboot on the device."
If that does not work you may have to try a factory data reset using the external keys. Note: This will wipe all user data.
