is there any way to fix the issue of connecting Turbo to BMW via BT? This problem is widespread - here is a video that was made by someone else:

I have reset the phone, wiped cache, paired and unpaired. The car works fine with samsung, and previously worked just fine with Razr.

Great question dsauch. Ensuring you're able to use your phone handsfree is a must. The best way to ensure compatibility is to check with your dealership (typically via their website) to see if your device and it's software version is compatible with your vehicle make/model. You'll also need to ensure no updates are needed for your vehicles Bluetooth system since they do get updated periodically to keep up with the device software in most phones.

Hi Ebony, the only officially compatible devices listed on BMW site are:
Motorola Droid
Motorola Droid 2
Motorola Droid X
These are all from 2010 or before. For samsung devices Galaxy Note2 is also not listed, yet it works perfectly. Would you suggestion be to stick with a 5 year old phone or to change cars every couple of years? Bluetooth is a well known standard protocol, if one vendor can make it work so can others. Unfortunately neither Verizon, nor Motorola nor BMW are interested in helping their customers...

dsauch - glad you were able to check on that device compatibility via your car manufacturer. It is customary for them (or the bluetooth service they use) to update their bluetooth systems to keep them compatible with newer phones and software versions. For example, my vehicle usually has a bluetooth update each year and I can take it right into the dealership and within a few minutes they will have my system updated to ensure I'm able to stay connected with any of my phone's. This will be standard for any bluetooth system as I've also had to go to the Bose website to update my Soundlink (1st generation) speaker when it didn't work with my Turbo. Have you checked with BMW to see if any updates are available to your vehicle's bluetooth system?
