We just got our new Droid razrs and I am wondering if we need to fully charge before turning on?
When we plugged them in the battery was at half charge.

Conflicting views on this. The CSR at the store told me to run it down THEN charge it full up. The manuals say CHARGE them up first. I don't think it matters but what you SHOULD do in any case is run them up or down then FULLY drain or charge them and try to do this full cycling 2 or 3 times to "condition (calibrate) the battery. After that, you can partially charge or deplete as convenient, as Li-ION batteries don't have "memory" issues.

i'd recommend following the manual more so than bubba at the verizon store, who isn't making a dime, talking to a customer who won't be buying anything.
