I upgraded to a Driod Razr today from a Driod X .. my contacts transfer went OK .. however there are now no pictures associated with my contacts .. what happened?
Copy your pictures (if they didn't copy as part of your transfer) to your new phone and link them to your People. The pictures in the People/Contacts are actually links to the pictures on the phone.(simplified explanation)
If your Contacts were set up with Google through Gmail it should have Moved on your new Razr as soon as you Entered the Google account on it. As mine did on both of my Maxx's
Do you have your contact backed up with Backup Assistance or gMail? The best way to make this painless make sure you backup all contact data to your gMail account and then add the photos for your contacts and this will backup the images also to your gMail account..
