You may have been getting the new Android 4.1.2 jellybean update. Mine went kinda crazy for a while on Sunday (I think) and then last night (12/24/12) I was informed to upgrade to 4.1.2. I just can't find a user guide to tell me what things changed.

Since apparently the upgrade still hasn't been officially released (some phones were pushed the update, but apparently it was pulled for whatever reason or maybe was released early inadvertently), Motorola hasn't posted an updated user manual yet; once posted, it can be found here:

Does anyone know how to get the update to come back up if it didn't download or you failed to hit ok before the time was up. Was trying to put it on charger when it popped up and thought it would go through anyways. But it said it failed. Don't know.

Pretty sure they are going to still send out jelly bean. Evidently I got it. My phone said I had an update and the next thing I know is now I have 4.1.2 which seems to be jellybean. If you liked 'speed dial', get ready to miss it, 'cause it's gone. And the 1st time it rang, I almost didn't know what to do to answer the call. A user's manual would kinda be nice, but there doesn't seem to be one, YET!!!! I'm thinking that someone goofed and sent the update out before they were supposed to. Lord only knows what may be messed up on my phone. But so far, nothing too earth-shattering.
The 1st thing that happened: the phone screen had the Droid logo on it and seemed to be locked up. This lasted for maybe 5-10 minutes. The next day (or following day), a screen pops up that I have an update ready to install. I pressed the install button and it 'did it's thing' for about 10 minutes, rebooted and went back to operating normally.
Now if they would just issue a manual to tell me how to use it, everything would be just peachy!!!

The udate hasn't been officially released yet. Someone messed up and pushed it early. I heard its supposed to roll out this month though.
