I want my email alert muted so i don't get all those alerts throuhgout the nite but have my text alert on. How can i do that? Tired of getting email alerts at 3 am from every store sale, etc

MY REGULAR EMAIL...HOTMAIL....EVERYTIME I GET A NEW MESSAGE I GET AN ALERT...IT SUCKS

Hi there migjmh! When turning off the notification sound for e-mails, it will turn off all notification sounds including text messages! To turn off the notifications, go to menu > system settings > Sound > Volumes. Increase or decrease the notification sound.

I use a sound manager application to schedule "quiet" times for my phone. Perhaps this would work for you?
