see who its from and subject, a box comes up and says get message . and

that's all nothing more. It started with with some customers and is getting

worse. Basicly back to carrying a lap top.

Hmmm.. @5856,

Since you're able to set up the Exchange email fine and the message notifications are coming in, that sounds like there may be a security firewall on your Exchange server keeping those full messages from coming through on a mobile platform. The good thing is that we're able to confirm the Verizon network is working with the delivery of the notification. Have you had an opportunity to talk with your IT Department to see if there's a setting on the Exchange server that will allow your cell phone to download the message? Some companies also may require the use of a third-party email program to be able to receive Exchange emails on certain mobile OS platforms.

Keep us posted if you need additional assistance.

Oringally thought it was a exchange problem. Now I am not able to read

emails from other sources ie hotmail. My daughter and son have same phones

and have same problem. This is a wide spread problem . I have talked with

Verizon it and motorola with no fix. What now? Tired of no response or fix.

Hello 5856,

I understand this can be tiring and I definitely want to fix this for you as well!  I just want to ensure that we're all on the same page.

This is no longer an "exchange only" issue and it involves all of your email accounts.  This is the same for other Maxx users in your family.

Since you've already tried removing and readding the email accounts, have you attempted to Hard Reset your phones? This may be a glitch that occured during the updates of your phones.

Ensure all of your personal information is backed up. You contacts are backed up either via Backup Assistant or gmail/google. Your media is on your SD Card and you can redownload your applications by visiting google.com/play and choosing My Android Apps.

You can hard reset your device by following these steps:
http://support.verizonwireless.com/clc/devices/knowledge_base.html?id=49625

Please let me know the results after this reset!

Thanks,

I have tried all these things. I have gone through two levels of IT with

Verizon and three levels with motorrola. I have gotten three phones and

started talking to many more people with the same condition. Do you deny

that this is a wide spread problem? Your stores do not. What I would like at

this time is a monthly credit to my account for the last two months or until

some one can ether fix the problem or get me a phone that does work.

It could be a possibility that there is a small Fluke in soft Wear somewear that is causing it to jam up 5856 Try this and then Try redoing the E.Exchange..   If this doesn't Fix the Situation i would move to Doing a Factory Reset. But try this First..
