frozen new razr! help!

My brand new razr is frozen. the only way i can see anything i by plugging it in and i see my background but nothing on it and the only thing i can do is lock it. no buttons are working. any soft reset available for this phone?

down button, home, and lock all at once is soft reset

Hold  down the Volume Down an the Power button.. at the same time to do a soft Reset if this does'nt solve the issue then pull the Sim wait a few seconds an then re insert it. Be Very Careful Not to touch the Gold area of  the Sim an if you need a new one an go to the store to get one make sure the Rep that would be installing the new one does'nt touch it as well the Gold Area is Very Sensitive to static Electricity an the Oils in our fingers witch we all have. Your welcome an if want just click correct answer or helpful answer as solution an i have myself done a few Soft Resets on my new Maxx since i got it. I guess its just part of the thing you do. B33

It is not just the power and volume button, it is the Power and Volume Down buttons you need to press, for about 10 seconds.  This forces a reset of the phone.  If that doesn't work, put it on a charger for 1-2 hours and try again. It may take a few tries. If that doesn't work, you will need to call Verizon.
