my txting background was black until it updated now its all white. any way to change the color back to black so its not so blinding? just got the phone and dont know much abt it. thanks.
It would help to know which Droid device you have. Are you talking about the stock SMS app? Have you look into settings for an option for Dark theme?

I have looked into all of the settings and there is nothing for dark theme or even change theme at all. only thing under settings in messaging is group messaging, ring tone, vibrate, delete messages after 50, sms enabled, reports, etc... nothing abt themes or backgrounds anywhere that i can find
I'm sorry your background theme changes after the update dot2dot.2. After an update settings are changed on the phone that will provide a different menu style. Have you tried to look for an app that can help with the changes on your phone? I was unable to find this as a change for your phone. Are you using a 3rd party app for messaging?
