You also need to ensure that the phone is Verizon branded and that it has a clean ESN. I'm assuming you bought a Razr since that's where you posted; if so, you'll need a new SIM card (they are free at Corporate Verizon stores). Activating the new phone shouldn't affect your plan.

yes, the SIM card is located beside the micro SD card (or above it, depending on how you're looking at the phone).

If you are referring to the SIM card, you can get one free at your local Corporate Verizon store.

Make sure it's a Corporate store ... retailers (which often look like Corporate stores, but they aren't) will charge you for a SIM card. You can go to the top of this page and click on 'store locator' to find your nearest Corporate store.

Once you click on Store Locator, then enter your zip code and press the Find Store button, the next screen has two tabs: Verizon Wireless Stores and All Stores. The default view is Verizon Wireless Stores.

That is not a Corporate Verizon store. They should have SIM cards, but I doubt it will be free; if they do charge you for it, I've no idea how much it will be.

@usmc1995
That terrible, I'm sorry to hear that your phone was stolen. I know it can create an inconvenience. The forum and I are here to help answer any additional questions or concerns.
The device being purchased from a third party ( Amazon ) will not cause the havoc on your account. We will process an ESN change towards the account to ensure that the SIM information from your current device and device i.d match.
This will not cause any changes towards the account since the device was not received at the discounted pricing.
If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to bring them to our attention.
