You can't. You have to take the phone to a Verizon store and they have the equipment and knowledge on removing the back cover and battery. One of the downsides of the Razr.

As mortb said it does not have a Serviceable type of Battery and after reading what i did when i first got my Maxx i would think that Verizon would Stray Away with messing with it as Well.! 

In the Get started Guide it states the Battery should only be Re-Placed by an Approved Motorola Facility..

But if your Maxx is on you can Perform what Jim suggested it's called a Soft Reset Here is How it's Performed..
