Have you tried holding the volume down and power buttons simultaneously for 15-20 seconds?

My Droid is locked up this morning too. I can't power down or pull battery. It's fully charged and was working fine before 6:00AM. It has a blinking blue light (usually indicating a facebook message) but it will not respond to any buttons being pushed. Verizon Wireless, please Help!!!

I have no display. The screen is completely off (black) and the only indication that I have that my phone is still alive is the blinking blue light. I don't have access to another phone right now so I can't call them. I tried to go online to talk to a live person through instant messaging but there is no option. I think this may be an update gone wrong. I guess I'll have to drive to a Verizon store nearby to see what they can do. I think we are not alone in this problem.

Debra, I just realized who I was talking to. I thought your name looked familiar. We are friends on FB. We both went to Linesville high school. I'm heading up to the Verizon store (by Walmart) to see what is going on. I'll let you know what they do for me.

Okay, sorry for the confusion. Holding the on button and volume down is
what they did for me. It worked for them. I tried that at home but I didn't
hold it for 20-25 seconds.
