All of my photos that were on my phone (not on a SIM card) are gone after the latest upgrade that happened this month (12/2015). I am unable to find them anywhere on the phone. Does anyone know if there is a way to retrieve them?

If you have a Gmail account or Verizon cloud enabled they should be on either one for recovery. If you go to your file folder, choose device, then dcim then camera, your photos should be in that directory.

Oh no, this situations looks grim, but we’re not going down without a fight, asksumbody. The community has provided some good suggestions so far. Verizon Cloud and Google Sync sometime come though. On top of these suggestions, I know Facebook also has it’s own Photo Sync setting. Is this service on in the Facebook app ( Settings> App Settings > Photo Syncing) ?

asksumbody, we're not giving up. Let's make sure that this isn't a memory capacity issue. Try deleting all unwanted photos, videos and media on your device to free up memory space. Power your device off/on and keep us posted. Let us know if you still have this issue after removing items.
