"People"/Contacts widget/icon missing from home screen

Hello all, this is going to sound, okay it sounds like a stupid question to me, but, I finally added weather widget to home screen and in doing so lost my "people"/ contacts and can't find them anywhere.  What did I do and can I fix this?

Look under Apps for your People app; long-press and move it back to your home screen.

Thanks, did that and there is no people widge or icon in my apps.  What did I do, I know it's sonething simple, but just can't figure it out.

Are you looking at All Apps (not widgets)?  And there's no People App?

Thanks for the feed back, yes I've looked in all apps, definitely something wrong here so I'll contact Verizon.  Thank you for helping, appreciated.
