Have you tried QuickOffice? That works good for me

Motorola android Razr still does not "recognize" a .xml file. Therefore won't let me "SAVE" it to open it with another app or program. I am a firefighter and our dispatches are sent out vie email in .xml format. I would very much like to be able to read the file for address and incident information. The largest hurdle I face at this point is the Razr not recognizing the file allowing me to save or download the file. Thus allowing me to experiment with other apps to see if one of them will "READ" the file displaying it for me to read.
Any suggestions?

QuickOffice does NOT work.
