Reboot your phone.
Rfg60, let's get your hotspot up and running correctly. Are you still having problems with it staying on? Did rebooting help? If you installed any new applications, especially those that affect data, please uninstall. Boot your phone into safe mode and see if the hotspot will stay connected then http://bit.ly/S6vLGz. If it does, a third party app may be causing the issue. If the same issue, you may want to complete a factory reset http://bit.ly/PfOnz8. Also ensure that you have the feature on your account for mobile hotspot as well.
