Have you looked in both your internal and external memory?  Using My Files  There is Internal phone storage and SD card.   Not sure where your app put them.  They are usually in a ringtones folder but that might be in your apps folder.

So when, from your home screen, you go Menu>Settings>Sound I take it they're not there?

If you would like to give something else a try may i recommend Zedge Ringtones & Wallpaper With Zedge it's a free app an you listen to the Ringtone before you choose an you have the Option to download it or Download an set as your Ringtone an as i Indicated it's a Free App thru the Google Market / Playstore there calling it Now. You find it by doing a Search or look in the free app's section. B33 Smiley Happy

Usually all downloads are saved on SD Card....  Look in SD Card / Downloads and the file should be located there..

Go to your Music app, choose to 'list' your music and look in the folder named 'Unkown'.

pinchera73,

I'm sorry for the difficulty you've run into with the ringtones. I want to thank the community for the great assistance. Has this been resolved for you? I would say the 'Music' or 'Play Music' app on the phone is where those files would appear after the downloaded, as advised.  Please reply back so I and the community can assist more if necessary.

Thank you,

Adam, I've looked in all the places that have been mentioned in the above discussions, still can't find my downloaded ringtones.  I received the email that said they were there and was hoping they would go to my "ringtones".  I have a Razor Maxx phone.

When you received the message did you press the menu button while on message and select download attachment? If not the file hasn't been downloaded yet.

Stand corrected... I think you have to press on message in thread view right before you open message and select Download from there.

Wildman I'm not very "computer savy" what is thread view?  I've got my text message screen open and the two texts showing.  when I select the menu I get a choice of "message setting" or "to online album".  I can open the text and play the music but there is not "download" mentioned.

When you are at the area before you can play the file... You should be able to press on that message until a menu comes up and download should be one of the options..

Glad to hear... As for things being simple, after a little amount of use everything will become second nature..

Kind of like switching to a MAC from a PC.. The pleasures of technology.
