on the new lock ring there is 4 icons; phone,camera, unlock and text. can we add more icons such as email???

You probably can't add more icons, but you should be able to change them if you wish. Try looking under whatever the option is for personalization.

The only 1 you could possibly change is the text icon app. Everything else at this point in time is not configurable.
