i uploaded my contacts to the backup assistant and can see them all on the backup assistant page.
I cannot get backup assistant plus to download them to the Maxx (sync).
It says that everything is sync'd but the contacts are not transferring.
My old phone was a LG Env Touch.
Personally I would import your contacts into the Gmail account you plan to use with the phone. Then you won't need to use Backup Assistant.

I tried that, but it imported the phone numbers as text only (they weren't recognized as phone numbers).
Finally I went to the Verizon store and they transferred them using cables after other attempts didn't work.
Not sure why the Backup Assistant didn't work. I could see everything was there when I looked online.
