getting confused, need help I put the wrong international phone number in my contacts/people list, when i attempt to change in contacts, I'm not able to insert the + before the number & as a Stroke victim having difficulty multi tasking can't edit in WhatsApp thought by deleting from contact list & going to new contact doesn't work due to inability to add + before international #

Sir i would suggest Calling customer service so they can Walk you the Process it's not that i can't but i think it would be allot easier doing it That Way.. There No. is 1-800-922-0204 option 3 they open from 7 am till 11 Pm M - S  Or if your close to a Corporate Store it may be even better to stop by there..  Good Luck b33

I know how important it is to keep in touch with loved ones dswank! I personally speak with my Dad as often as I can!

Are you still having difficulties? Were you able to add the plus sign when you first entered the number? Are you deleting the entire number when you are attempting to edit it? Is there a specific error message displayed when you attempt to add the plus sign? Are you using a third party contacts app or the stock app?

Let's get to the bottom of this!

Yes,I did go to a Verizon corp store which of course couldn’t help, not being a WhattsApp source. Having said that, I don’t know how I did it but I did it. My sons correct # is in my contacts properly. Please close this issue & thank 4 your concern in my connecting w/ my son

Give this a Try Ds i found it Doing a Google Search:   I tried doing the Same scenario on my Maxx an worked great hope it Works for ya.!  Good Luck b33

Research resulted in this ... there are two options:

Enter 6035551234

Then hit Settings | Add pause

Then enter 1111

It will look like 603-555-1234,1111

If you make the call it will dial the number, wait two seconds, and send the extension

Enter 6035551234

Then hit Settings | Add wait

Then enter 1111

It will look like 603-555-1234;1111

If you make the call it will dial the number and wait until you respond.

After you respond it will then send the extension.
