Excuse my ignorance - why / when would i turn the wifi on, on my phone?
The only time you need to turn on the Wifi feature is when you want to connect remotely without using you data up on your plan. I only do this at home, as I have a Wifi on my computer, because it saves my data overages. Other than that, you can leave it turned off. But remember, using the internet widget alone WILL eat up your data plan. Try using Wifi when possible if your going to be one the net for a while. Hope that helps.
