In July of this this year, I purchased a new phone to add a line shortly after transferring to Verizon from T-Mobile. When I was checking out online, I was given an offer for a $200 gift card and I added it to my cart. I received the phone shortly after and activated it, and my rebate was submitted. It was set to be validated by 8/19. When that didn't happen, I reached out to customer service via chat and asked when it would be validated because I wanted it applied to my autopay bill on 8/28. The customer service agent assured me that it would be processed by then and they would apply it to my bill. The rebate came back as invalid, so I called, and they changed the date of the submission or something and resubmitted it. This time, the validation was set for 9/3. On 9/19, the rebate came back as invalid AGAIN. This is absolutely unacceptable!! And now the only thing I can do is call a number to file a complaint? I want your refusal in WRITING so I can take it up with the BBB and my local attorney general for your BUSINESS PRACTICES!
