ALEXA SETUP WORKS ON MY PHONE, BUT I CANNOT SET UP MY AMAZON ECHO DOT

Let me start by telling all of You that I am not able to see to well so I use the Google Talk back feature on my  Motorola Edge 2023 Mobile Phone .  I have recently run into a problem that I cannot seem to solve.  I have contacted the manufacturer of my phone, They tell me to contact Amazon since Amazon Alexa is an Amazon product, I have done that, Amazon tells me to contact my phone manufacturer, I have even purchased a new Amazon Echo Dot think that that might solve my problem, So far that has not done anything for me.  What winds up happening is that my phone will tell me to connect to the unsecure Amazon network, at that point my phone will connect to my Amazon Echo Dot.  However, when I am asked to save my password to Google, my phone will not allow me to do that for some reason, and my Amazon Echo Dot immediately disconnects from my network.  The only reason that I can come up with for this problem is that I have noticed that the Amazon Alexa App does use A-LOT of  my 512mb of memory, usually between 3[phone number removed per the Verizon Terms of Service]mb.  Am I just supposed to use the Alexa app on my phone AND NOT setup my other Alexa devices from now on?.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
