Every since ic update battery life is terrible, have to just about leave plugged up. Phone used to last 2 days easily. Verizon sent me a replacement phone. IC was done installed on it. I have the very same problem with it. Ive tirned off or down and kind of setting i can find through help topics.  Phone constantly getting very hot like it always trying to do something.  What do i do now. Phone was awesome and now is almost useless?????

Had the same(and many more)issue. I wiped the cace and did a FDR without letting Google restore anything and my problems have disappeared.

Crap I'm sorry I copied those instructions from droidlife and they're incorrect. You have to hold BOTH volume up/down not just volume down.
What's still broken/not right after the FDR?

If the Method you tried Did not Work or Help the Issue:  Try doing the Factory Reset This Way..

Hard Reset: - Removes all personal data and sets device back to the stock state when you bought device...

From the Home Screen.. Go to Settings--> Privacy Then do the Following...

1. Uncheck "Back up my data" only-> under Settings/Privacy

2. Click Factory Data Reset/Reset Phone

3. After reset is complete only Active Phone but do not input Google Email information

4. Once phone is at homepage go back into Settings/Privacy and make sure the Automatic Restore option is unchecked, even if grayed out, activate "Back up my data" and quickly disable "Automatic Restore"

5. After being sure that the Automatic Restore option is off it will be safe to log into Google and you can continue installing preferred apps and custom settings.

These Instructions that i provided are from Wildman.. Thanks again Wildman b33Smiley Happy

There is a small (.214) update that should be coming out that fixes the battery issue. Return it to about the same life as GB.

SoccerRef12:     When is this small update (.214)  coming out, and where did you get the information about it?      I googled .214  and got lots of forums and unofficial content and info, but nothing straight from Verizon's own mouth.

There's already a .215. I did the .214 and noticed an improvement. .215 is a kernel update so I'd wait for it.

.215 update also looks to strengthen 4G signal.
