Can not connect to home wi-fi.

Typed in password and nothing happens.  It will not even tell me if the password is incorrect.  Does anyone had a similar problem or suggestion.  This is a brand new phone.  it is upgrade to 4.4

Is there an option (checkbox) to make the password visible as you type it in? That way you can verify it against your password information. Uncheck the box before submitting it and allowing the phone to connect to the network.

weezy58, we don't want this to be an ongoing issue for you. Are you able to connect to any other W-Fi device? Do you have issues connecting to that Wi-Fi device with devices other than your Droid phone?

Let's try to connect to that Wi-Fi again. Tap Settings>tap Wi-Fi>Select your Wi-Fi name>Tap Show Password>Enter the password. Keep us posted.
