Can't make or receive calls ONLY at home, ONLY my phone

I can confirm the same issue on my Galaxy S24 Ultra.

It started  yesterday. When at home, I have 4/5 bars on Verizons 5G network. Prior to yesterday I've not had this issue, but any phone call I tried to make (or any inbound call I tried to answer) gets dropped as my service suddenly goes to 🚫. Within seconds of the call dropping, my phone finds service again and is fully functional via text or internet. But the issue persists with calls until I drive away from my house.

I've tried basic troubleshooting to reset my network and device. nothing seemed to work. Today, I was just about to call customer service after about 15 minutes of no success and the issue went away  seemingly on its own (for now). I would love to know what could cause this type of issue as there doesn't seem to be any good answer from Verizon out there. And I want to avoid it happening again in the future.

We certainly understand not wanting to run into this issue again. We would need to do additional troubleshooting to figure this out. We would also encourage you to set up wi-fi calling on your phone. That way you have a back up. A private note has been sent.

Hello. What was the resolution to this problem? I have the same phone and think I have a similar problem

Ive never noticed the bars until I try to make a call and cant because of no service.

Restarting the phone doesn't always work anymore. The issue is a recent one and only happens when im on the road. Just started a few months ago.

My mom is on my plan. She has a similar issue but worse. It always happens at her home. She is elderly. We are going to have to get a her a landline bc its just not safe for her to live alone with inconsistent cell service.

Hello itsmee2003. We want you to have exceptional service. We understand this can be frustrating. Have you already done a network settings reset on your phone? What city/state are you located when you have issues? How long has the issue occurred?
