Can you remove battery from Droid Maxx? Got new phone and they said remove battery and sim card from old phone to send it back.

You received general instructions for this process. You cannot remove the battery from this device. Some devices do have removable batteries and if you need a replacement you get only the phone. Batteries and battery covers are not replaced. The instructions probably say to remove the battery if applicable.

Thanks for your reply. Very helpful, and I just sent the phone back with
the battery in it. Hope it was dead as I couldn't tell if it was on or off
as the screen was damaged and not visible. Anyhow, thanks again for your
time.
