Do I need to get a different back cover for Qi wireless charging on the Droid Turbo? Or do I just need the charging pad?

You should be ok with the stock cover as the phone was designed for this and a big selling point for Verizon. From what I have been reading there is no foil or shielding inside to block the charge field area.

Qi is built into the back cover already. You just need the charger.

One thing to Remember there's usually a Sweet spot that the phone has to be right on to make it work, And just to be aware some wireless chargers can cause Warmness in the Battery and the Backs of the phone..

Yup I'd sure like know & would like to Try that Turbo Charger on my Maxx but I think it's not compatible but it might work for my one m8 as it has next Gen. charging technologies built in it.

I think Turbo we both have a problem on this one as my S5 & your one m8 both have the tech but copper foil shield blocking on the stock covers.

Yea could be correct, you don't want to spend a bunch a money to hook it up and it turns your phone into pudding.. I wished I could find some specks on the charger just for the knowing of it..
Just thought about, it may say something or have specks on the charger in the Phone on-line user manual might have a look there..

I know it will work to some degree on a stock cover with a few phones but cause heavy heating and possible charger/battery damage. Do the reading research first Turbo. keep it and be
.
