I recently broke my phone which was over 2 year old and knew I had it insured. So after spending $99 for the deductible they send me a refurbished phone that's defective as the screen gets stuck. I've e-mailed Verizon and have not heard back. I can't believe I paid to have it insured when I got it, had to spend $99 and they send me a defective phone.

Seeing as how I can't edit or delete the original post I'd like to recant my opinion. I finally got a hold of a representative from Asurion who was more than happy to help and sent me another phone tomorrow that hopefully is free from defects and was free of any additional charges. A Verizon customer support specialist also informed me that refurbished phones go through numerous tests. They must have just missed the defect on the phone I received. Of course I'll wait and see if my new refurbished phone is free from problems first...
