Downtime not going active?

I have downtime set to start Sunday through Thursday at 11pm until 7am next day. Some days it turns on. Others, like today, it does not. Just got a text at 5:45am that came through.

What is going on? Or how do I make it auto activate again? I know I can hit volume and select priority until downtime is over, but don't want to do it manually.

Today is Friday so that would be why since you only have it set to function Sunday's thru Thursday's you'll want to add the days/ times you want downtime to stay on for other days & times. Although it's the next day from Thursday, because Friday isn't selected as one of the days for downtime to be able to function it will not. TGIF!

But when I just went to turn it back on, I noticed it went active once I checked "Thursday"?!?

The 'downtime' function won't display an active status, it's just a check box to select or unselect to set the dates and times. The Moto assist functions like 'sleeping' will show as active if it is, while they can be used in conjunction is seperate.

I meant that I was checking Monday, Tuesday, etc. When I checked Thursday, my notification for phone going into "silent" turned on leading me to believe Thursday setting activated the downtime. But sometimes it doesn't go silent. Can't figure out when, why, how?

Does anyone know why this happens? If it's really because Friday isn't checked, I'll try it, but I don't want it to go silent on Friday night at 11.

I feel like it may have something to do with occasionally manually turning from "priority" to "all" when I get to phone before downtime ends at 7am. Then it never resets itself?
