Since the last update My Turbo keeps rebooting by itself. Does anyone know what the issue is?
I did do cache clearing and factory reset but it still continues to reboot several times a day randomly and this kinda driving me crazy. Who owns the responsibility to get it fixed ??? Is it a hardware issue or is it just a software bug ?? Is this problem acknowledged and is someone working on it ????

Mistafyme,
A rebooting phone is no friend of mine. When did this start happening on your phone? Have you added any new apps recently?

No new apps it started about 3 weeks ago. I have taken it to the verizon store where of course it acted fine. They did a factory reset and phone still is doing shut downs, reboots, and turning off items such as auto rotate screen.

I cannot believe what I'm reading. I expect to find solutions.. not complaints and rants.. my old phone Droid Maxx HD had no issues with reboots but I had other minor issues but nothing like this.. but when I upgraded to the Turbo 2 on New Years eve.. about a month later started experiencing reboots. I've been able to factory wipe my phone 3 times to see if the problem fixed. Well it did not.. and after reading this I broke down and I'm crying because I cannot stand the reboots. it reboots while I'm on the call. or while I'm typing emails or even when I have it my pocket.. bluetooth will tell me when the phone disconnected (making me think I left my phone somewhere no I did not.. its right here with me in my pocket!!) I have protection plan and Verizon is giving me a run around for my money.. I go into the store they tell me to call customer service.. I call customer service get transferred to tech support they walk u through the troubleshooting in other words ..wipe your phone.. that's not solution I was hoping for but I did.. then they tell me to bring my phone into the store. To this I have $600 phone sitting on my kitchen counter.. day I haven't installed any apps.. and phone just reboots on and on. Why the hell do I pay full coverage protection plan if I cannot get a replacement? THEY DONT CARE ABOUT U.. Simply put. I've been without the phone for a week decided to go in online and suspend my phone service until I get another phone possibly from AT&T.. this is my cue everybody in my family and friends keep telling to get iPhone next.. we'll see about that.

Yes.. This is also continuing to happening to me. I'm now on my fifth
Turbo and same problems. Only solution they give is to pay off my phone
and buy a new one. I'm going to stay until I get this phone paid for...
Then I am finding a new carrier. Probably a GSM carrier so I can actually
use some of the great less expensive phones out there.

Your fifth phone? I would suspect the applications you install could have something to do with the issue.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I have had problems no matter what apps I installed. And really... Should
a phone reboot because an app crashes. I have spoke with many other Turbo
users with reboot issues... And we do not have any apps in common. I have
even had the phone reboot in safe mode. I will never own another Motorola
product again.

Varberry No question about your loyalty. We certainly thank you for being loyal to Verizon and the last thing we would want is for you to leave us. I’m sorry you are having such a hard time to get your phone working. We can certainly take a look at the phone and account to see what is going on. funny how you reply like this.. you copy and paste the same old response.. if I had a penny for each time I see that I'd be a millionaire. so my answer is NO.. I'm not going to contact you.. How about YOU CONTACT ME. If you want to help us.. you'd do something about it. Otherwise I can see why Verizon staffs aren't happy with their jobs.. is that all you can do?

I've had a long day at work... and enough to put up with! Now it's Friday... weekend is here so I will take action later.. I requested to have my phone service suspended until time when I'm ready to take action.. but I'll wait till tomorrow for all that.. I don't want any headaches dealing with Verizon right now.. to me you all are one big joke.. and I will never take you all seriously. My mind is made up. Have a good weekend!

I'm having the same issue, I've had my phone for a month. Over heats with minimal use at different times if the day. Restarts for no reason at least twice a week. Battery dies rapidly every day when I get home in the afternoon; dies no matter if I have wifi or Bluetooth on or off, NFC is always off, apps are not updating and I am not using it, using the camera once kills the battery quickly. It's like all the services never turn off or go into sleep mode.
Waiting for marshmallow.... but with how long it's taking to release, I'm scared about its reliability.

you should be very very scared.. if it hasn't robbed you of your joy and tortured you in process then you my friend..you Run away.. far far away.. lol jk.. I WAS going through the same experience as you're in right now.. tell you what I feel so much better without it. Verizon couldn't help me.. much less Motorola forums little help. I had it for a three weeks when rebooting started happening.. got more frequent than the other.. Verizon suggested to wipe cache or factory wipe and watch all the apps you install before installing another app.. it was a needle in a haystack.. One time I was talking to my boss and had phone in my pocket.. without moments notice it disconnected.. I pulled out.. the phone boot logo shows up.. I was fed up.. that's when I realize it wasn't worth it. Sure phone has it's perks.. it fast charges and give you 10 hours of battery life in 15 minutes. That's not a reality for me anymore. Sold phone on swappa for $430.. you better hurry because price is dropping.. so if you want your money's worth you better pick up a samsung or downgrade to droid razr maxx hd.

Ever since Att killed the iPhone 3, ask phones are the same. They don't even care. Due to high speed internet they all feel that ota in the future is just as good as releasing a good product in the beginning. Cell phones and video games are the same damn mentality anymore.

My Droid Turbo has been rebooting randomly since day one. That's what happens when the send out a new OS without properly testing it first. The way they test it is ridiculous. They rely on forums like this to get feedback on what they need to fix. I'd seriously advise against installing the new Lollipop update if you haven't already. It's too new and it will take a while before they work out all the bugs...

You should absolutely have a fully functioning phone, jl168. I'm sorry about the random reboots. Does this happen daily, multiple times a day, or when using certain apps? Do you notice any pattern? When it reboots, does it turn back on by itself? Also, since day one, since you've had the phone, or since you got the Lollipop update? How long have you had phone? Have you tried running in Safe Mode to see if reboots stop? If not, please try to do so. Safe Mode should be for about 12-24 hours. Please keep us posted.

Texascritter,
That is great info which we definitely appreciate! At this point I would definitely recommend doing the update. In many cases an update can help fix operating system issues and get things running the way they should. Let's see if that helps get this back in top shape.

I'm seeing similar. Over the past several weeks, my phone has become more unstable. Unusual stuff, losing mobile connection, speaker going out forcing a reboot, bluetooth connection problems until I reboot.
I know we did receive the security update around the same time.

My Turbo worked fine until July...then the Lollipop update started my random updates and rebooting. Can't stop it either. The Verizon store had no solutions. I think one day I counted 12 updates, all on its own, then works fine for 2 hours and does it again maybe 2-3 times.
