Since the last update My Turbo keeps rebooting by itself. Does anyone know what the issue is?
I did do cache clearing and factory reset but it still continues to reboot several times a day randomly and this kinda driving me crazy. Who owns the responsibility to get it fixed ??? Is it a hardware issue or is it just a software bug ?? Is this problem acknowledged and is someone working on it ????

Hopefully the Sprint network has adequate coverage for the places you frequent and you don't roam off network much.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I've joined y'all in reboot hell. My Droid Turbo started rebooting on its own Christmas Eve. It reboots as soon as I remove it from the charger. It also reboots if its been sitting idle for several hours. I only have 15 apps installed, and none of them were installed less than 5 months ago. No recent updates to OS. Husband has exact same apps installed and he's not having an issue. NOT excited about this!

This is rather disappointing and upsetting. I've been experiencing this issue since mid-summer on one of my two Turbos. I've been fallowing this chain and many others to find someone who has found a solution or some kind of response from Motorola, Google, or Verizon in regards to a solution.
The only pattern I've seen is that my phone primarily restarts in the evening, when using the web browser, taking photos, using Facebook, or using the Amazon app. Sadly, there are times when the phone restarts at other times.
I feel Verizon should offer a swap for another non-Droid Turbo device to those experiencing this issue. Especially since the phone often restarts with a disabled sim-card. I've missed countless phone calls and messages due to this already.
david060383 - You might be right in the lawsuit direction. A flagship device with a wide market share containing a debilitating unresolved issue for several months is unacceptable.
Based off of the user experiences I've read through on countless forums I see no reason to try the factory reset, device swap, or any other method that has clearly not worked and would likely interrupt my day-to-day more than an untimely restart.

I too am having the same issues with my completely vanilla Droid Turbo. I just ordered a replacement one from Motorola today, but from what I am reading I believe I will have the same issues as have been described above. I took it into a Verizon store and the tech told me that it must be a hardware issue, so have it replaced.
Motorola was very quick to suggest replacing the phone, I wonder if they are aware of some issue going on?

This is not surprising to me. Mine has begun randomly rebooting yet
again...and they always want to blame something I've installed. I don't
understand why they wouldn't just get marshmallow out the door for this
device to see if it can make some of these issues go away. This is/was
their Flagship device...why wouldn't you put the newest operating system on
it ASAP?
Verizon you are alway going to disappoint....

JstewsMole, this has been going on too long for you. Let's find some answers for you. When you got your current phone, did you run it as new (without installing any applications) for a week? I suggest a week because you indicate that it happens about once a week. What were you doing on the phone at the time that it rebooted?

I have r an for more than a week with minimal apps... And it still
reboots. Typically when it reboots... I am not even using it. It will be
sitting on my desk at work... And all if the sudden... Reboot. It has also
rebooted while using chrome... Which is an ask I cannot uninstall... I
realize that this has been going on for a long time which is why I have
given up.. I'm hoping that marshmallow will fix it, unless Verizon is
finally going to let me dunno this [removal required by the Verizon Wireless Terms of Service] phone and go to something else.

Let me fix up my post..typed it from phone...
I had ran this phone for more than 1 week nearly stock (I need the Android Wear app and a few others just to be able to live day to day), and still had the reboot issue. So...since I was on my 4th phone, and the store that I typically go to was very jerkish about even getting a 4th phone (they basically told me to go away..that there was no help they were willing to provide), I am just living with the random reboots, the amazing disappearing SIM card, and the myriad of other issues this phone has on lollipop. This was a solid phone on Kit Kat, and since Lollipop, it has had nothing but issues. The company I work for avoids these phones like the plague.
I have asked Verizon to just take this phone back and allow me to get some other device (even refurbished I don't really care), and you would think I am asking for a free ticket out of town. I just want a phone that works as advertised.

OK so just realized I am running 23.21.44 System, and even in Safe Mode, my Droid Turbo is restarting 4-5 times a day. Is this an operating sytem error or hardware problem?
I have Factory reset it already, and still in Safe Mode it restarts. Can anyone help with this issue, its extremely frustrating. I really need a phone that works.
When I started using the Droid Turbo just over a year ago it was fine, but over the last month or so its performance has become a series of reboots. At this point, its not very useful. Can anyone offer suggestions that are helpful? Verizon, are you chiming in on this with some help from Motorola?

Verizon doesn't believe that this problem exists... They believe it is
something you installed. I've had this same issue on 4 different phones...
And I finally did what they wanted all along.. Just have up on trying to
find a solution.
They pretend to want to help, but really they just want you to shut up and
be a good Verizon slave..

The same issue on 4 different phones? It is more likely an application causing the rebooting. An application that you put on each phone.

It is not... I have tried different configurations each time... And still
reboots... It could be an app that Verizon forces onto the phone... They
are always the same. Those phone has many issues, it will randomly tell me
I have no sim card installed, then it will reboot when no one had even
touched it. It happens about once a week on average. I can't wait to get
this phone paid off, and then leave Verizon and Motorola forever.

Having a consistent problem with 4 consecutive phones would frustrate me too. Is there a SD card in your phone that you have transferred from phone to phone? Did you ever replace your sim card? Having done the master resets and getting all your other data wiped these are the only 2 things that would still be transferred from device to device. One of them may be faulty. If you have a SD card please remove it and test your phone for 24 hours.

This does not give me lots of confidence when you tell me to take the SD
card out of a phone that does not support one. Come on....seriously?
I have not changed sim cards, no one has ever suggested that before.

One of the problems I kept having after the phone finally came back up after a long reboot is that the phone would tell me that I was running out of space when I was only using 11GB out of the 32gb available. Anyone else have this happen to them?
