Just got my Droid Turbo, and it automatically restarts by itself about 3-9 times a day.
I just got it and have NOT installed any apps in it.
Just add my gmail accounts to the device to get my emails.
Things that i have tried to fix this problem:
- Did a Factory reset
- Booting into Recovery mode and clearing the cache partition
None of this helped.
Can you help. Thanks

JustinSGS, we're stepping in to help you get it back up. Did you factory reset it in Settings>Backup & Reset>Factory Data Reset>Reset Phone>Erase Everything? After resetting it, did you redownload the same applications that you had before? Some 3rd party applications can affect the performance of your device. Try running it in Safe Mode again which will determine if an application is still causing these issues.

Constant power cycles are not fun Andrea! I want to get to the bottom of this issue and explore options to resolve for you! When did this issue start? Have you called our tech support team at 800-922-0204 to troubleshoot? If you have, what troubleshooting steps have you done? I don't want to ask you to do the same things. In the mean time run/test in Safe Mode http://spr.ly/6588B80QQ for a few hours. Keep us posted.

I've been having similar issues with my device as well. The screen would go dark and then never come back on. Powering down and restarting would lead to the "Android is starting....optimizing app 1 out of XX" which has a chance of showing my lockscreen but most likely would lead to another reboot. I've cleared the cache, and have done factory resets at least twice so far. After a few days of running fine, this morning it rebooted and I haven't been able to get it back up at all.

Wow. Seems to be a fairly common problem with this phone(Droid Turbo) from what I am seeing on here..... Ever since I switched to Verizon and got my brand new Droid Turbo it has randomly restarted multiple times during the day. I have done EVERYTHING they have told me to do and even received a replacement phone(refurbished) and it is STILL doing this. I am so frustrated and I don't understand why this cannot be fixed! I would almost like to ask for a different phone, honestly, or the new one that came out recently. I really just don't know where to go from here.

I understand how frustrating this phone issue is, Crissytee10. If the issue is reoccuring across multiple phones it's generally something installed on the phone, or an accessory, like an SD card, that you're using that's causing the issue. To determine the root cause, please run the phone in Safe Mode, and remove any accessories. Please let us know if you're able to recreate the issue.

You said you just got it, I assume brand new from Verizon. If so, I would take it to a corporate store for a new one. NOT a refurbished phone, but new. If you did a factory reset and don't have any apps installed I doubt anything else can be done.
