The battery on my Droid Turbo is no good. Lasts for 4-5 hours if I use the phone.

What is using the battery?

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Suggest backing up the device and performing a factory data reset. Before you restore the device try using the device in a vanilla state. See how it performs. Something has to be causing this. There are TONs of settings you can adjust to provide yourself with better battery life. One big one is turn off GPS if your not using it or dont' need it at that time. If you google battery tips for x smartphone you will see all the options / tips. My Father has the Droid Turbo and the battery last a LONG time.

I am with you on this one with the Battery life on Druid Turbo 2. For something that was supposed to last 24 plus hours. I barely get 11 out of it while at work and not using it. I talked to verizon today they told me to keep Battery Saver mode on at all times... Had reduced 4g and wifi speeds. Facebook and email couldnt even connect with that set up. To have to turn on and off battery saver mode every single time i want to use/not use phone is annoying. Also suggested turning phone off every day to close all apps. Why there are so many verizon based apps running on my phone with out me using them is beyond me. Apps i didnt even know that were on my phone. Told me to also manually close all apps through Settings> device, APPS > running tab > manually close apps i want using, (had about 22 apps running) only use 4 or 5.

When I clicked on settings > battery

Screen uses 10 percent of battery life. Brightness almost turned down to 0(farthest left it can go) I can now barely see my phones screen.

To top it off when i plug this bad boy in to anything OTHER then turbo charger it came with. (i have a verizon supplied USB charger) the phone will actually STILL LOSE battery life. This also being specifically my car USB port. Hopefully when they call back tomorrow they can set me up with a replacement cause this battery is borked
