Depends on what application you are using but usually you long press on one of the messages then you can select additional messages then select delete.

I have the same issue. Selecting individual emails is OK if you only have a few messages to delete, but a real pain to delete anything more than a few. There was a command to do this on the RAZR, the Turbo I now have is not as convenient in many respects.

If long press to select doesn't go into selection mode then hit menu from messages view and see if there is a select option there, which app are you using for email ?

Long press does go into selection mode, but then I have to select each email individually after that to select a large number of emails for deletion. If I want to empty the trash folder, for example, that may have over a hundred emails in it, this is a real pain. I’m using a corporate email account.

There should be a way to empty the trash folder without hand deleting each email from it.  Either in a menu or long pressing the folder.

I used "Type" (an email client from they play store). It allows for multiple email accounts (I have gmail & another IMAP) and also allows for multi-edit ( from the 3 dot icon) where you check the messages and choose the action you want to perform (Delete, archive, mark as done, mark as read or unread among others). Its free and has no ads

For those of you experiencing Fuzziness or Cheap Sounding Audio Quality while in a Phone Call, this appears to be most noticable while you are in a call and moving whether it be walking or driving, however if you are sitting still with no movement at all, then the Audio Quality will subside and and sound decent
