I'll be out of the country and wanting to use the local network. Is my phone able to support the GSM network and is it unlocked?

Martino8,
We trust that you will have a pleasant trip and certainly want to see you connected with your loved ones. All of our devices are unlocked for global use http://www.verizonwireless.com/aboutus/commitment/safety-security/device-unlocking-policy.html?lid=s... Our devices are built to support our CDMA/LTE network but cannot be guaranteed to work on other networks. Should you prefer, we have global options available, which can be viewed here www.vzw.com/tripplanner

It will work for basic calls and some data using either an expensive Verizon International plan or a local carrier SIM card. It will NOT have full functionality though.
