Hi. I just recently update my Moto X1 XT1060 to 5.1. I'm currently not able to enable guest access. I figure out in my settings to go to users. When I tap that I'm just taken to a blank screen. Do I need to have another device that runs 5.0/5.1 in order to enable guest mode or am I doing something wrong?

I believe that is one of the features that Verizon chose to remove from the stock Android 5, at least they did from the Samsung S5 version.

Motorola is the ones writing the code not Verizon Wireless. The Droid Turbo didn't get the guest option either in its Android 5.1 update. I don't know if the Guest option can only be enabled on phones if they come with Lollipop originally from the factory. I don't really see a lot of need for multiple user access on phones as it is.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I seem to have the same issue. After loading 5.1, I now cannot access my work's GuestNet wi-fi access. Previously, I would get a warning that it may be unsafe to continue, but I could always blow past the warning, and the phone would give me a pop-up login/pw window, where I could enter my username and pw. (It is a "guest" access wi-fi site, but you still need to have a user name and password...) Now, after 5.1, I cannot seem to conjure up that log-in pop up window. Any thoughts?

True but Verizon tailors some features out such as guest access on Samsung devices.

Remove the remembered wi-fi network and re-add it that usually solves the problem.
