After the latest system update, I can no longer find my files (pictures and videos) using windows explorer from my desktop. Explorer says Folder is empty. But I can see the files in my phone's storage. I used to be able to download my pictures from my phone to my computer. Did anyone else experience this? Do you know how I can access my files?

With the Marshmallow OS update, the default USB mode is now charging only. Once you connect the phone and computer with the USB cable, pull down the phone's notification shade and change the USB mode to File Transfer. See if this helps:
