I'm trying to help a friend with his new Droid Turbo. He just bought a new HP DeskJet 2540 All in One printer and I'm not very familiar with either of these two devices. Any suggested links for starting points or directions will be appreciated. Thanx,

The printer is capable of wireless printing using Airprint - the manual should help with getting that set up.

Google Cloud Print has always worked well for me. Simple to use over Internet or WiFi.

So, when I got to his house, turns out he goal was Android phone printing directly to Hp printer. Hp calls this "Wireless direct printing". Their printer broadcasts a passcode protected, wireless connection option and it was VERY simple to follow the setup instructions for the printer. My friend just didn't have the patience to read instructions and depress a key for 3 seconds to invoke the passcode handshake request!!
Thanx for the help
