I have been having these notifications for a long time. I thought that now that i have registered, installed and backed up with the cloud that i could get rid of these annoying pop ups asking you to sync now. The pop ups are constant and seem to have been getting more frequent. I have tried to disable backup assistant plus using the settings> backup assistant plus, but the only options are to 'manage contacts backup settings', which leads to the same as the pop up screen and media backup 'cloud' which leads to the cloud settings. I just want to be able to pick up my phone with out this pop up screen! preferably without doing a master reset.

We don't want you needing to reset your phone either, emtbritain. What is the exact message you're receiving? Does it refer to Backup Assistant or the Cloud application specifically? Are you seeing an error message regarding the last backup attempt?

Its more of a pop up window. Its for back up assistant. It pops up and has
a sync now button but it doesn't matter how many times you hit sync it
still comes up.

Thanks for the details. Do you have Backup Assistant active on your device?

Yes. I can't disable it. I fallowed the directions available online:
settings> back up assistant > uncheck the boxes for pictures, videos,
music, documents, contacts. Problem is I don't have options like that.
Settings> back up assistant only gives me 'manage contact and backup
settings' when I press that it takes me to the screen I'm trying to get rid of.

emtbritain,
Thanks for the additional details! Has your device been updated to the most recent software? Have you been able to download Verizon Cloud from the Google Play Store to see if this helps eliminate the notifications?

I don't have the newest software update yet. I downloaded the cloud app but it didn't disable the backup assistant. i made sure to go to verizon online too to change to cloud from backup assistant, still didn't do anything. I even tried changing the backup time in the "settings" screen it keeps giving me, which is the screen I'm trying to get rid of, still no change.

Thanks for that information, emtbritain.
You've done quite a bit already. Have you ever cleared the cache for the BackUp Assistant app http://bit.ly/QDzmef?
