How do I place names on photos? How do I move photos from photos folder to people

Which phone model do you have? Are you backing up the photos to Google Photos or Verizon Cloud or something else?

I have Moto Z Droid. I want to move photos to people folder so that I can name them.
I'm not quite understanding your question.
if you're wanting to add photos to your Contacts, then you'd do that from within the Contacts app. You can select a contact to edit there, and add a photo to them. If you're just wanting to reorganize your photos and where they're stored, you can do that with the File Manager app.
