How's your battery life with ICS?

Mine seems considerably shorter, bur probably one reason is that I'm playing with my phone just trying to figure out the new OS. Probably will find out more on my next charge.

Mine seems shorter to. Some thing's i lost with ICS was no way to forward news alerts like form cnn, fox to my group contacts and no way to lock the phone on 3G so i down loaded LTE off app to fix that problem my LTE signal is - 102 to 113 dbm so i use a Network Extender for the 3G.

One thing I noticed is that the stock battery indicator seemed to go down faster than it did before.  But I have an app that gives me the actual battery level.  At times it seemed to actually not go down faster but then it would.  But I spent probably almost half my time the phone was on actually playing around with it.  So the next few days will be the actual tell all as I settle into my normal routine again.  I also let my phone get down to 15% tonight to be able to reset the battery.  Right now my phone is off and on the charger.  I will let it charge over night and get it up and going in the morning.

Go to SETTINGS | BATTERY and look to see what the couple highest are. That might give you an idea.

When figuring battery life, I always do the 3 day rule. Do not try to determine what it is going to be like until after 3 days, cause you are going to be playing around with the phone more during those 3 days more than you would normally. Once the 3rd day has gone, then I start tracking it to see. It is not fair to say battery life is shorter now, only to see that 75% of the battery went towards the display, cause you are playing with it more.

My battery life seems even better.  I played with the phone and the settings, after the update, for hours yesterday.  Still had 50% left when I plugged it in last night before going to bed.

Mine too, I started yesterday @ 100%, did the download and the update, and was left @ 80%. That was at 7:30 AM. At 10:00 PM, I will still at 50%, and that is with messing with it all day.

  Time will tell.

I was not that lucky. But my phone was at 30% and plugged in when I did the download. Afterwards I turned my phone off and let it finish charging overnight. I started my phone yesterday morning at about 7 and by 8 last night I was down to 15%. But I was on it way more than normal (almost 40% of the day). But I was watching my meter and when I was on it the battery did not seem to go down at the se rate it used to. Today and the next few days will be the tell all as I revert back to my normal usage.

So far I have been up for almost 8 hours and am down to only 76%. I have been using my phone moderately today. I will see more tomorrow as I am usually up for 16-17+ hours and can get down to 15-45% depending on how busy I am at work.

I think one thing that may be contributing to it is that with ICS the screen seems dimmer than GB .. I had to adjust my default from 40% to 60% brightness to get closer to where it used to be ...

My battery life appears to be better with ICS. It seems that I'm getting a few extra hours added on. With GB, I was getting about a full day plus. That is with browsing the internet, phoning, downloading an apps. No streaming video or music. Doing the exact same thing with ICS, I'm getting about a day and a half. I'm happy.
