I cannot get a dial tone or hear my messages on my Droid Maxx. Help!

I cannot get a dial tone or hear my voice mail messages on my Droid Maxx all of a sudden.  What can I do to fix it?

Here I am to save the day CANNLAND! Unlike a traditional landline phone, cell phones do not have a dial tone as the call is placed after your dial. As far as your voicemail audio, are you using the standard voicemailby calling *86 or are you using an app, like visual voicemail? Please verify that bluetooth is turned off in the settings menu. Here are the steps, Settings > Bluetooth > Off. Keep us posted after you do these steps and retest.
